Hello my name is Adalberto Lee VinCi. i am from italy. why my country
is in the war because we had, in the years leading up to the war, been allied with Germany and Austria-Hungry in the "Trible Alliance". However, when war came, We declared her neurtrality. Eventually, We entered the on the allied side on May 23, 1915 by declaring war on austria and claiming the regions of the south Tirol Alto Adige and an area on the Isonzo river and the town of Trieste.
Italy wasn't involved or effected by the archduke of austria-hungry.
In the beginning, we, the Italians, were on the side of Germany and Austria-Hungry and we were in a tripple alliences. and then once us and other countries made Germany and Austria-Hungry sign the Versailles Settlement. What we did was wait and see how the war progressed. On April 26th 1915, she came into the war on the side of the Triple Entente – Britain, France and Russia.
The goal of this poster is to get the U.S. men to join the army. To get involved in the war and to stand strong for what they believe. It's showing that their enemy is big and a bad person and could hurt anything that America loves.
U.S.A. entering the war hurt our chances of winning the war. U.S. is very angry with our allie Germany. Germany bombed one of the ships that had U.S citizens on it and made U.S very angry with Germany.
For Russia exiting the war help us. why it hlp us was because now we didn't have to worry about both sides and we could concentrate one the other and made are army alot stronger.
We the Italians total wartime casuaties was 420,000 killed and almost 955,000 wounded out of the 5.2 million men who served during world war one.
On one christmas we called it christmas of truces. What this was that all war just stop as one man came out with a truce flag from the German side and he started sing his song. And all at once the men on his side came up behind him and start sing aloud with him. After that we all came out and shook hands and we sat together in peace. We shared our pictures of are familys. We also shared food as in jam, bread, and water, and hidden whiskey. We also played soccer together and had a fair game with all of us Italians, Germans, Scotish men, and french men. but then once moring came we shook hands once more and went back to the battle.
